Cordova Clay Roof Tile

The cordova is well known as the Spanish tile which was originally shaped out of clay on the thighs of female peasants in Spain many centuries ago. Historically only manufactured in red.

It is it is essential to use clout type copper nails.(63mm overtile and 41mm under tile)

Note:
For very low pitched roof where windy conditions prevail it is recommended that you specify a 203mm headlap but for normal conditions a 102mm headlap is adequate. Detailed drawing can be requested from Bilmark clay roof tiles pertaining to setting out.

Additional : starter tile plus half round ridge.
